We like to get email notifications about our customer backups and we ran into a an error when configuring one of our sites. While configuring SBS2011 backup report emails I received the following error message;
To Fix the SBS2011 backup report emails you need to do the following
- Go into Exchange Management Console
- Navigate to Server Configuration and then Hub Transport
- Then go to the Properties of your Receive Connector
- Click the Network Tab and you should see that it is set to All Available IP Addresses
- Simply change this so that it is just the IP address of your server as per the screenshot below and the backup report emails will work once again.
