Has one of your programs crashed on your Mac and after trying to close or force quit the program, is it just not closing? It is likely that your Mac Dock has stopped responding.
Please follow the steps below to relaunch your Mac Dock:
- Click to the Spotlight Search located on the top-right of your screen
- Type in terminal
- Double-click on Terminal to open
- Right-click and Copy the following command:
killall Dock
- Right-click and Paste the command in Terminal
- Press Enter on your keyboard
The Mac Dock will then disappear and reappear. You should then be able to open your program again.
- Here is an alternative command that you can copy and paste into Terminal:
sudo killall launchservicesd
- Then press Enter and Paste the following command:
sudo killall Dock
This will again relaunch the dock and resolve your application crashing issue.

Sometimes the Mail app on your iOS device may show an incorrect unread email count when there actually aren’t any unread mail messages in your inbox.
To fix this you need to do the following.
- Go to “Settings”
- Select “Mail, Contact, Calendars”
- Select the mail account that shows the unread message.
- Turn “Mail” to “Off”
- Turn the iPhone / iPad off by holding down the power button for 5 seconds and slide to power off.
- Wait for 30 seconds, turn the iPhone / iPad back on.
- Go to “Settings”
- Select “Mail, Contact, Calendars”
- Select the respective Mail account
- Turn “Mail” back to “On”

I have come across an issue where I was having scrolling issues after upgrading to OS X Mavericks within Web Browsers and I had to close and re-open the app to get scrolling back but it would only work for some time.
The only work around that I can find is to activate scroll bars to always be visible within apps. This may not look great, but it fixes the issue and here is how you can turn it on;
You can activate this option in System Preferences -> General -> and under “Show scroll bars” choose “Always”.

iOS7 is due to be available for download in the UK after 18:00 this evening. There are two ways in which you can easily update your devices;
Update Wirelessly
Go into Settings>General>Software Update
When the update is ready it will give you the option to Download and Install it.
Update using iTunes
Plug your device into iTunes
Select your device and under the Summary tab you can choose to check for update
I recommend that you backup your device first before the update.

I came across an issue where I could no longer remote desktop to a Windows Terminal Server after installing Remote Desktop Licenses on it and I got the above error. It turns out that this is a bug and you need to update to RDC for Mac v 2.1.2 which can be downloaded from the following link;
